The Hattons Bar & Lounge
Hattons Lounge is a small, exclusive poolside retreat with both indoor and outdoor seating, nestled amid beautiful trees and lush gardens. Guests can enjoy the convenience of requesting early breakfasts, take away meals, or late check-in dinners, while also relishing an all-day dining experience. Located along Karen Road, the exclusive Hattons Lounge is set in what used to be Karen Blixen’s old coffee farm estate. It is about 20 miles from downtown Nairobi and about half a mile from the Karen Golf and Country Club. Centrally and conveniently located, it is a short walk from the Karen Blixen Museum, Kazuri Bead Factory and an easy 10 minutes’ drive to the popular David Sheldrick Elephant & Rhino Orphanage as well as the Giraffe Centre.

Savor dishes of every kind at the Hattons lounge; whether you’re up for breakfast, lunch or dinner, great taste is always in season. The restaurant offers both A La Carte and buffet menu for both local and international dishes with a strong focus on sourcing the freshest ingredients from local Kenyan farms. Pastries, breads and cakes are all freshly prepared in the kitchens daily. Breakfast features a selection of fresh fruits, juices, cereals, and pastries together with an A la Carte menu. If you can’t find what you’re looking for in any of our menus, our chefs are always at your service, nothing is too much trouble to prepare.
